Our Guidelines & Requirements

To ensure a seamless installation process, we kindly ask that you follow our pre-installation guidelines listed below.

These guidelines help us deliver the excellent service you expect while protecting your home and new flooring. Please note, adherence to these instructions is part of our service terms and can affect final costs if not followed.

1. On-Site Presence

A responsible individual must be available on-site to discuss the specifications with our installers and handle payment upon job completion. If no one is available, it may lead to a charge ranging from $150 to a full day’s labour cost.

2. Furniture and Room Preparation

Unless included in your service quote, it is crucial that you clear the room of all furniture and personal items prior to our team’s arrival. Failure to do so may result in a minimum fee of $150 for handling.

3. Removal of Personal Effects

Ensure that all small items, electronics, books, and breakables are removed from the installation area. Beds should also be cleared of all bedding.

4. Door Clearance

Please check that there is sufficient clearance under doors for your new carpet and underlay. Service for trimming doors for extra space is available but comes at an additional charge.

5. Subfloor Requirements

Do not remove the old smooth edge or ‘spikey sticks’. If your subfloor requires preparation, this can be arranged for an additional fee.

6. Handling of Leads and Cables

We strive to be cautious; however, we cannot take responsibility for damage to or the cost of relocating cables and wiring found underneath the carpet.

7. Walls and Decors

While we handle your property with care, minor damages might occur, so having some touch-up paint is advisable.

8. Electrical Power

Please ensure that electrical power is available on-site to facilitate the installation.

9. Access and Parking

Ensure there is clear access to the installation site. Any parking fees or special parking arrangements are the customer’s responsibility.

10. Final Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of installation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, cheques, and EFT (ensure EFT payments are cleared a day prior to installation).
